Seekan uses Stripe Express to process payments securely. Follow these steps to connect your account and start receiving payouts.
Step 1: Accept the Stripe Invitation
- Look for an email invitation from Stripe sent to your registered email.
- Open the email and click Get Started.
- You will be redirected to the Stripe Express setup page.
Step 2: Verify Your Identity
- Enter your mobile number to receive a 6-digit verification code.
- Enter the code to proceed.
- Provide your full legal name, email address, date of birth, and home address.
- If required, upload a government-issued ID for verification.
Step 3: Add Your Bank Details
- Enter your bank account details for payouts:
- Bank name
- Account number
- Transit (or routing) number
- Ensure the account name matches your legal name to avoid payment issues.
Step 4: Review and Submit
- Double-check all your details for accuracy.
- Agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.
- Click Submit to complete your account setup.
Step 5: Access Your Stripe Express Dashboard
- After setup, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Stripe.
- Log in to the Stripe Express Dashboard using your mobile number.
- From your dashboard, you can:
- View payouts and transaction history.
- Update bank details or personal information.
- Download tax documents when needed.
