  • The service provider fails to deliver the agreed-upon service.
  • The service provided is significantly different from the description or agreement.
  • The customer cancels the booking within the cancellation period as outlined in the provider’s terms.
  • Other exceptional circumstances as determined by Seekan after review.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued for the following:

  • Services completed and delivered as agreed.
  • Dissatisfaction with the service quality, unless it is proven that the service deviated from the agreed terms.
  • Cancellations made after the designated cancellation period.
  • Transactions outside the Seekan platform.

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact the Service Provider: Attempt to resolve the issue directly with the service provider first.
  2. Submit a Refund Request: If unresolved, email us at info@seekan.ca with the following details:
    • Booking ID
    • Description of the issue
    • Evidence supporting your claim (e.g., screenshots, messages, agreements).
  3. Review Period: Our team will review your refund request within 7 business days.
  4. Resolution: You will be notified of the decision via email. Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.

4. Partial Refunds

In some cases, partial refunds may be issued based on the extent of services delivered or other relevant factors.

5. Platform Fees

Please note that platform fees charged by Seekan are non-refundable unless the issue is directly caused by a platform error.

6. Dispute Resolution

If a resolution cannot be reached, Seekan may mediate disputes between customers and service providers. However, Seekan is not liable for the outcomes of services as we act solely as a platform to connect users.

7. Changes to Refund Policy

Seekan reserves the right to update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through our website.
